Roasting food has always been popular across the world for centuries. The history of food roasting in China is over 800 years old. During the 13th-century Ming dynasty only the royal family and wealthy nobles had the exclusive privilege to enjoy this delicious feast. This food-roasting experience is now available near your home.
Twice a day the highly experienced chef at KungFuDuck, using a uniquely customized oven, prepares the roast duck for lunch and dinner. The end product is a signature dish that is both tender and succulent. Other favourite dishes include crispy pork,charsui (barbecued pork) and soy chicken, and the sauces and salads are freshly made on the premises.
Word travels very fast in the Chinese community, and within just a few weeks of opening, without any advertising, KungFuDuck became a big hit: it is now an established favourite for members not only in the local area but for some who travel long distances from across town. The bar of excellence has truly been raised by KungFuDuck, so much so that many now believe that even Chinatown has some catching up to do.
